Antique Wild Boar Tusk Tribal Artifact – Carved tips, 4.25" Diameter
A rare, naturally spiraled wild boar tusk dating to the late 19th–early 20th century. This is a single tusk, not joined or altered, showing full natural torsion — the helical twist that only develops in older male boars. Both ends have been hand‑carved to matching points, a traditional finishing technique used in Bavarian, Austrian, and Hungarian hunting lodges between 1880–1905.
This tusk is heavy, uncracked, and clean, with original enamel and dentin intact. The inner opening is under 1 inch, confirming it was never jewelry — it was crafted as a display trophy, often mounted in lodge rooms or kept as a personal hunting memento.
